Curtis Blackbone Jones was raised in one of the roughest areas in Gainesville fl where he learned the art of survival. There were Pimps and prostitutes,robbers,murderers and crooked cops.Curtis was raised by his single Mother Bessie Jones with his two brothers Paul and David in a enviroment filled only negative role models.Curtis found himself stealing,robbing,fighting and saling drugs at a early age.Curtis' Mother taught him at a early age about the medicine that was in music and it's healing power.They listened to Al green,Otis redding,Aretha Franklin,Teddy,Luther and the Ojays and many more.He realized that music altered emotions and even and gave him a way to escape the Ghetto in his mind at 19 he turned his life around and was born again.He married has 3 beautul children Tiara,Latayvia and Lil Curtis from that several year bitter relationship which ended in divorce  .Blaming GOD for his misfortunes he turned back to the streets drinking heavily and masking his pain through many relationships at one time.Curtis quickly made some bad choices that landed him in jail for a year and half and then a nervous breakdown and found himself is a hospital for another 2yrs.During that time Curtis began a long hard road to regain his sanity and life he began reading his Bible again and renewed his faith in God.He began writing songs and poems and singing.The staff at the hospital noticed his numberous talents and encouraged him to get out  and persue a career in entertainment.After his release Curtis became heavily involved in the church once more writing plays and singing in the choir.Curtis was intent on showing God his gratefulness for bringing him through hell and back.Feeling a tugging toward R$B music in 2007  he emerged from his cacoon of fear and persued his desire to become a singer in 2008 he was happily remarried.Armed with a arsenial of life experiences of pain,love and heartbreak he used them as material to write his songs.Over the last few years Curtis has endeavered to sharpen his craft as a performer he has become a musical force.With his smooth and unique eargasmic vocals Curtis Blackbone Jones grabs your attention from beginning to end and leaves you wanting more.Blackbone is due to release his dedut album later this year..prepare to be invaded by the Bone zone..
